Adult Mononucleosis

Unread postby HealthForum » Sun Mar 27, 2011 12:13 pm

I have been quite sick now for 6 weeks. It began with incredible chills and fever and rash.abdominal pain under left ribcage, left chest, left back and arm. Also night sweats and day sweats, which are still going on, as well as DIZZINESS that hits me out of nowhere and will knock me off my feet if I don't sit or lie down. Also just this incredible weakness that overcomes me and if I don't lay down I will surely pass out. Heart seems quite tempermental these days and always breathless. So, my question is this...How can I be 47 and have Mono this bad again when I had it 30 years ago,and why don't doctors know about this adult mono and what to do about it?! Suggestions, please.
