any chance i could still get pregnant?

Unread postby HealthForum » Sun Mar 27, 2011 7:40 am

Hi

I am 26 years old, 6 years ago i was diagnosed with Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia, i had a bone marrow transplant 5 years ago with total body radiation, i have not had a period in 5 years due to this and i know its unlikely but is there any chance i could still get pregnant?
I asked about egg donation a couple of years ago but the doctor without even giving me a scan said it wouldnt work?
I just wanted to know what you thought?
would it be worth having a scan to see if i would be able to carry a baby from an egg donor?
or would there be any chance of it happening naturally?
I dont have much hope but just thought i would ask

Thanks
