Birth control pills

Unread postby nehasharma5 » Sun Aug 20, 2017 1:41 pm

Hi All

This is Neha here. I have been taking the birth control pills regularly for the last 3 years. The name of the pill is Femilon. This is a great pill without any side effects. I have never faced any problem with the same. I sometime take the pill even 3-4 days after my periods are over, but have never faced any issue with getting pregnant. This has been extremely successful in my case and has helped me be safe and secure and not take any tension at all.
Missing a pill increases your chance of becoming pregnant.

When one pill is missed, remember to take it as soon as possible, preferably within 12 hours, this might mean having to take two pills at the same time the next day.

It is advisable to always follow the patient instructions mentioned on the Yasmin packet.

Two pills can be taken in a day for two days continuously, if you forget to take two pills in a stretch in first or second week. Then take one pill on one day for the remaining pack. It is suggested to always keep a back-up birth control plan, such as spermicide or condom, for at least 7 days in case you miss pills. If you forget to take two active pills continuously in Week 3, start a new pack the same day if you are starting from Day 1.
