Herbs may help sleep by creating a feeling of calm. They are used in massage oils and other products for their aroma that will influence the senses and help relaxation. Camomile and Lavender are often used for relaxation and can be found in many forms including sprays and oils that will scent the bed and bedroom. By trying to create an environment that is conducive to sleep, the mind and body are encouraged to connect and prepare for a restful night.

First, you must determine what kind of sleep disorder do you suffer from.

Here are the common types of sleep disorders:
Insomnia - Difficulty falling asleep; Often waking up during the night and having a hard time going back to sleep. Try to adjust your sleeping habits. Sleep in a quieter room, keep your environment dark during bedtime, cut out on caffeine.
Sleep apnea - Could be a serious sleep disorder; Occurs when a person's breathing is interrupted during sleep. Find out first what kind of snorer you are, take a sleep test (http://bit.ly/1edl9eL). Adjust you way of living, keep a balanced diet and body weight, quit smoking and avoid alcohol consumption prior to bed hours. Make use of anti snoring devices.
Restless legs syndrome - Uncomfortable sensation on the legs which makes it hard for the person to sleep or stay awake. Exercise daily, cut down on caffeine, alcohol and quit smoking. Drink lots of water.
Narcolepsy - The person is having a hard time controlling his sleep or wakefulness; Often described as excessive sleep during daytime. Sleep at the same time everyday, take naps, avoid nicotine and alcohol, exercise daily.

Hope this helps!

Each sleep disorder has different approach when it comes to treatment.
