hi! You know, infertility is as painful as we allow it to penetrate our life. Also, it’s definitely not a verdict. Our surrogate is now 18 weeks pregnant with a baby of our flash and blood!

right you are! unfortunately, it's not that easy to guard oneself of it.
That's so lovely, Momsie. Do you know baby's gender? What was the most difficult for you in the process? and generally, are you satisfied with the idea of surrogacy itself? of course you are, but i mean your feelings, you are ok with the fact that another woman is carrying a babe for you?

Hello, everyone! Hi, Momsie! I have a similar situation. I gave birth for my beautiful daughter at 19 yo, she’s 6 now. When I got pregnant for the second time, it ended with miscarriage on the 17 week following by hemorrhage and hysterectomy. I was very depressed at that time! Being a young, 24 yo old woman I have been already infertile! I can imagine what you felt.
But the time passed and after lots of thinkings I came up with a decision.
I still have my ovaries and we are about to use surrogacy program. I join the previous questions about your jorney, I think it will be helpful for me. :wink

no, it wasn’t an easy choice. Definitely it wasn’t. But you know what? Despite of all the ups and downs, now we know it was the right choice. Why you asking? Are you also about to make such a difficult choice in your life?
Baby’s gender is still unknown to us, but we hope it will be revealed on the nearest scan. We’re impatient to know, very.
Am I satisfied? Sure, now I can say yes. Everything was quite smooth for us. We were lucky to get pregnant from the very first attempt (our surro mom)
The feelings are hard to describe

Madeline, sorry you also experience all those tortures. It’s fancy that our conditions are so similar. If your ovaries still function properly, you have a chance of having a baby of your own but carried other by another woman. It may sound a bit weird, but in reality it’s easier than it seems. Hopefully, modern medicine has numerous techniques and technologies of infertility treatment at your disposal. All you need to know is to study your possible options and ways of treatment, then make a right choice of fertility tx provider and wait for your positive result

Momsie, thank you! well, I had much time to study all the possible options and we actually have chosen some clinics. Moreover, tomorrow we'll go abroad for having an appointment with one of the clinics we've chose.

Yeah I get that, I understand you so well. After all of the failed attempts I now feel like there is nothing left of me but the empty corpse that has to undergo a necromancy ritual in order to come back to life..
Sorry, I have been reading too much fantasy lately.
I remember myself falling into the depth of depression when I was looking at the kids’ stuff or happy families with 2 or 3 children. The worst was right after I had to undergo my abortions but as times goes by it does heal everything or at least it makes you so numb that you begin to lose the ability to care….
This is me basically…
PS I am going to the clinic for the initial consultation on 12 of April. I do not know whether I want to stick with it or no but I guess it is worth the first visit just because it has a lot of good reviews .

@ironwoman,
hello, it's very sad to read your story... You know, that maybe it is passed not many time for you to overcome your heartsore.
For me it was also uneasy, but I accepted the fact of my infertility and began to move on considering other options.
I'm sorry if I missed something. maybe you've already written it here, but I'll ask anyway. As I see, you are going for a surrogacy and as far as I know there are not many countries which allow such service, actually. What country are you going in?

Oh, so you're about to start. That's great! so you probably is already traveling. what country and what clinics have you chosen? I'm not sure you have some internet connection there, so please drop a line when you have a minute or already get back home. I've been at your place just a couple of month ago and I know how it feels. I even started my fertility journey diary to keep my thoughts, emotions and memories compiled
good luck and waiting for your news

Great! I like those moments when you are sure that all you did before wasn't for nothing. I'm just curious. I'm on my 2ww now (DE IVF)
I can imagine how excited you are. Do you have any preferences? :D
I'm glad it went well, no need to describe your emotions, I feel it. Luck to you x

Momsie, hello! you're so right! I also began to write diaries. It helps to compartmentalize thoughts.
I chose Ukraine. We’ve been in two clinics. Actually, we wanted to visit more, but biotex was the first clinic we’d been in and we liked it at once. My husband didn’t want to waste time for going in other cities and clinics. We liked the services there and their readiness to treat us from the first day of our visit. Today we’ve had our tests done and signed the contract :hand
So....the journey began...
