Need Help! Upper Back Pain When Swallowing!

Unread postby HealthForum » Sat Mar 26, 2011 9:06 pm

Ok, about 4 days ago, I was taking some medicine. It was a capsule that had to be swallowed. I was too lazy to fill up my 1/4 empty glass of water, so I tried to swallow it with just a little bit of water. When I was swallowing it, I had the feeling that it did not go down all the way. It felt like it was stuck there. I went to bed and woke up because of pain in my chest and upper back.
Four days later, I no longer am woken up by pain, and it rarely hurts except when I swallow. I get a sharp pain between my shoulder blades and occasionally in my chest.

I am asssuming it is because of the pill maybe irritating my esophagus, but I don't really know.
Does any body know what it is?
Will it go away by itself?
Or how do I fix this problem?

Thanks in advance.

Upper back is usually treated by one or a combination of the following things:
Do light exercise daily, take deep massage or massage therapy, heat therapy and ice therapy. Medically, medication is used to relax muscles or reduce pain and inflammation is helping for back pain also.

Back pain is mostly create for doing more works on computer, long riding and playing instantly sports and work outs. Take a proper rest in weekends and doing yoga regularly for relaxation.

For joint pain you should consult to orthopedic surgeon. They will guide you properly. Don't take risk in it. :wring

My mother has same problem as yours. She consulted the doctor. Some medicine helped at first but after 1,2 months her digest system could not get any better.
