Peripheral Vascular Disease

Unread postby HealthForum » Sun Mar 27, 2011 4:17 pm

Hi, I am a 28 year old female who was diagnosed 1 year ago with PVD. What I want to know is being I am so young is there more concern with my heart or anything else. I have quit smoking six months ago, I have no diabetes and my blood pressure is very good with out medication, usually around 110-125/70-85. I do need to be more physically active I know, I am about 5'4" and weigh roughly 215 lbs. I do know I need to loose weight but I have a really hard time sticking to a diet or a plan to eat healthier. Any information you have would be beneficial for me. Thank you so much for your time.
