I concur with you that menopause symptoms are many and varied. They include hot flashes, sleeping problems, vaginal dryness, mood swings and memory problems. As a woman, it is important that you learn how to manage and treat these symptoms. Let me briefly look at how you can manage the symptoms
Hot flashes
Hot flashes are triggered by eating spicy foods, caffeine, alcohol, and stress. To manage them, it is recommended that you dress in layers so that you can remove them when the hot flashes come. Also, ensure that you install a fan at your workplace or home. Women experiencing hot flashes should consider taking oral contraceptives to help manage symptoms and prevent pregnancy.
Mood swings- to contain them, it is necessary that you get enough sleep and remain active throughout.
Memory problems- women in menopause, may have problems focusing. This is true in cases of induced menopause. As such, it is recommended that such women should not use MHT to protect themselves against memory loss.
Problems sleeping- this can be solved by remaining active during the day. However, one should avoid exercises when approaching sleep time since it may keep them more awake.
