Health is the most valuable asset that a living being needs to live life to the fullest. Good health is proccured when toxins in the body are eliminated, all vital parts are working at their fullest and when the inner self is at peace. In Ayurveda, the therapy known as Panchakarma is undertaken formostly to cleanse all body toxins and to acquire balance between body, mind and conciousness. Panchakarma in Sanskrit stands for pancha meaning five and karma meaning therapeutic measures. Five types of therapeutic measures are undertaken for purification of the body. The ayurveda products used in the therapy are efficient in bringing back health and vigour to the human body.The therapy consists of many types of herbal massages, baths, and other practices. Steam, external oil treatments, Basti (medicated enemas), Virechana (purgation through herbs), Vamana (emesis through herbs), Nasya (nasal administration of oils) etc. being some of them. This natural de-tox program helps in elimination of deep seated diseases and regains a healthy state of mind, body and soul.
