Colon Cancer in the family

Unread postby HealthForum » Sun Mar 27, 2011 7:39 am

My Father died from colon cancer at age 47. I am 41 now.
Today I was taking my shower....and don't ask me why, but I put my finger up into my rectum. I felt a large, and VERY hard lump....well not sure if it was a lump because I felt a bunch of them together to make one big one. It doesn't hurt. I'm wondering if its cancer or hemorrhoids. I haven't had a colonoscopy yet.

Colon cancer or colorectal cancer is at the top of the leadership of one of the reasons for deaths due to cancer. It involves the lower digestive tract beyond the control of cell proliferation. It usually starts with the development of colon polyps and cancer as time goes .
