Arthritis is nothing but the form of joint disorder that involves inflammation of one or more joints. It is the loss of joint surface that covers the bone. It occurs mostly in US. There are over 100 different forms of arthritis and the most common form is osteoarthritis. Osteoarthritis is also called as degenerative arthritis because it removes breakdown of cartilage and bones. And due to this the bones rub against each other and it causes pain and stiffness.

Arthritis is an inflammation of the joints. Sometimes, it is also defined as a group of conditions which involve damage to the joints in the body. While some of these are genetic and a person may be predisposed to getting them or the arthritis may develop a trigger that causes arthritis.

Arthritis simply means a painful condition of the joints that causes pain, stiffness, and swelling in the joints and surrounding tissues. Arthritis can affect all joints in the body, and it's impossible to predict which or how many joints will be attacked.
