Lipoma arborescens

Unread postby kick00 » Wed May 09, 2012 9:29 pm

MRI results show I have lipoma arborescens in my knee joint. Does anyone have any experience with something like this? I understand its benign, but I have concerns about a couple of things: A. One doctor tells me I probably don't need anything more than a shot of cortisone. How will this rid me of the tumor? B. Since this is an extremely rare condition, how can I be certain the physician/surgeon I use knows how to remove it? C. Should I be concerned about complications like nerve damage?
