As per my opinion sugar free chew gum is the best option to reduce bad breath. I use good branded mouthwash to wash my mouth in every night before go to sleep. All bad smell foods are not good for breath and lemon juice is the best for stomach acid problem.

It can be something with stomach, did you tried to visit doctor and do some tests? It can give an idea what bacteria or what does it. Then you may try to reduce it, change eating habbits.

The main cause of bad breath is tonsilloliths.
They are bacteria that can form in tiny clumps, and become lodged in tonsil folds at the back of the throat. You can have them removed. Google it on youtube.

Tonsilloliths are the main cause of bad breath. They are lumps of calcified material in the tonsils, the fleshy pads at the back of the throat. They can be removed by yourself or having them removed by a dentist that treats halitosis.

Could be one or a mixture of issues...

Tonsilloliths are definitely a possible cause...you can have them removed..
Tartar build up and plaque between the teeth - not flossing
dry mouth from certain medications.
